3M™ DI-NOC™ Metallic Wood (MW Series)

The 3M DI-NOC Metallic Wood series combines the warmth of natural wood grain patterns with a subtle metallic sheen, creating a hybrid finish unlike any other in the DI-NOC lineup. MW patterns feature realistic wood species designs - including oak, ebony, elm, and other hardwoods - layered with a metallic effect that adds depth and visual interest to surfaces that would otherwise read as standard wood.

Metallic Wood films are designed for spaces where traditional wood grain feels too understated and solid metallic feels too cold. The combination creates a contemporary, sophisticated surface that works well as an accent alongside both standard wood and metallic DI-NOC patterns. The effect is particularly striking under directional lighting where the metallic layer catches and reflects light through the printed wood grain.

The MW series includes a glass finish (MW-DG) variant for behind-glass applications. No matte, exterior, or abrasion-resistant variants are available. All MW patterns include 3M™ Comply™ adhesive with air release channels for bubble-free installation and are backed by a 12-year expected performance life.
