3M™ DI-NOC™ Aged Metal (RT Series)

The 3M DI-NOC Aged Metal series recreates the look of naturally oxidized, rusted, and patina-covered metal surfaces. RT patterns capture the rich tonal variation and irregular surface character that develops when metals like iron, steel, and copper weather over time - delivering an authentic industrial aesthetic without actual corrosion, structural weakness, or the mess of real rusted metal.

Aged Metal films are designed for spaces where an industrial, raw, or vintage metal look anchors the design concept. The printed oxidation patterns and textured embossing create convincing depth that mimics real weathered metal under both natural and artificial lighting. Unlike actual rusted surfaces, DI-NOC Aged Metal won't flake, stain adjacent materials, or continue to degrade - the appearance stays fixed while the non-porous vinyl surface remains easy to clean and maintain.

The RT series includes a glass finish (RT-DG) variant for behind-glass applications. No matte, exterior, or abrasion-resistant variants are available. All RT patterns include 3M™ Comply™ adhesive with air release channels for bubble-free installation and are backed by a 12-year expected performance life. Popular applications include restaurant and bar interiors, brewery taprooms, industrial-themed retail, loft-style residential accents, and feature walls where an authentic weathered metal character is desired.
