3M™ DI-NOC™ Abrasion Resistant (AR Series)

The 3M DI-NOC Abrasion Resistant series is engineered for high-traffic interior environments where surfaces take daily abuse. AR patterns feature a durable top layer that reduces the visibility of scratches, scuffs, and surface wear while maintaining the same decorative appearance as standard DI-NOC films. The collection spans over 70 patterns across wood, metal, stone, solid color, and abstract designs. AR is the recommended specification for high-traffic door wrapping in hotels, hospitals, and schools.

AR films are ideal for spaces where standard architectural films would show wear too quickly - elevator cabs, public corridors, retail counters, hospital handrails, school furniture, and any surface subject to frequent contact or abrasion. The scratch-resistant surface maintains its appearance far longer than standard vinyl in demanding environments.

AR patterns are available across multiple design families including Fine Wood, Wood Grain, Metallic, Stone, Solid Color, and Abstract finishes, allowing you to coordinate abrasion-resistant surfaces with standard DI-NOC patterns throughout a project. All AR patterns include 3M™ Comply™ adhesive with air release channels for bubble-free installation and are backed by a 12-year expected performance life.
